These are some of the tools we use in competitor research for our customers - to analyze competitors, understand what they are doing and what they plan to do next.
Apps Run the World - database of thousands of companies and the applications that they run; not comprehensive but can be a good source alongside some of other sites listed here.
BuiltWith - very longstanding, very comprehensive list of the outward-facing applications that companies run; BuiltWith relies on HTML scrapes so shows applications that have some website integration.
Enlyft - another useful list of what companeis are using a selected technology.
Featured Customers - aggregates the key customers of technology vendors, from public sources such as their case study pages, customer logo pages and other web sources.
G2 Stack - review site for technology products; not primarily intended for customer lists but customers can be inferred from some of the reviews.
Google case studies - plain old Google searches like this, and related variations, can turn up many of a competitor’s customers.
NerdyData - another HTML scraper that deduces what technology a company uses from what appears on that company’s website.
PublicWWW - like NerdyData, BuiltWith and others, PublicWWW searches HTML code for evidence of technology products being used.
SimilarWeb - not as comprehensive as some of the others on here, SimilarWeb also uses web code to determine what technology a site is using.
